Register now for European Maritime Day 2022!

The main theme of this year’s European Maritime Day is ‘Sustainable blue economy for green recovery’. The conference will take place physically with the speakers and the moderators in Ravenna on 19 and 20 May 2022, but it will also be webstreamed live.

Up to 750 physical participants will be able to attend but everyone, from everywhere in the EU, will be able to join remotely the opening and closing high-level plenary sessions (including inspirational speakers on blue economy and the marine environment), take part in the EMD’s 24 stimulating interactive workshops, the 3 pitch stage sessions and many B2B meetings opportunities.

The full programme of EMD will run virtually via video conferencing (via Zoom or similar tool).It will also be possible to watch interviews, highlights from the conference and videos through EMD TV.

Moreover, this year you can also participate either physically or virtually to the 4 plenaries of the EU4Ocean Summit and its 4 workshops, hosted at EMD 2022 (on day 2 – 20 May), focusing on Ocean and Climate, Food from the Ocean and Healthy and Clean Oceans.

The hybrid format of this year’s EMD will allow both physical participants, and virtual ones, to exploit fully the opportunities to network with your peers, exchange views, showcase your achievements and get up to speed with the latest policy developments in the maritime world.

European Maritime Day 2022 is co-organised by the European Commission, the City of Ravenna, the Italian Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility and the Region of Emilia-Romagna.
